    The Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office began a non-stop weekend search following the discovery Sunday of a shallow grave in the wooded area of 7796 Highway 4 in Jay, Fla. Authorities received information about a missing person's case from May 2018 on Friday, Dec. 14 and immediately obtained a search warrant for that address.     An Atmore man landed in the hospital following a pedestrian versus motor vehicle crash on Ridgely and North Main Street in Atmore Nov. 30.     At 4:25 p.m., last Saturday, November 17, Flomaton Fire Department received a 911 call of a fully involved structure fire on Wolf Log Road.     The Jay council approved the transfer of $28,000 left in the Sinking Fund to the General Fund to cover bills Monday night. The town's bills include a $7,000 gas payment, payroll, $10,000 annual fee for Black Mountain annual fee, and insurance is $13,000.
