The Atmore Area YMCA was selected by Wind Creek Atmore to receive a donation from its popular TITO (Ticket In-Ticket Out) program. Wind Creek Atmore Property Manager Tim Ramer presented the check for $10,339. A two-vehicle accident involving an ASAP Simmons ambulance transporting a patient resulted in two injuries, authorities say. The accident occurred last Thursday evening at 6:40 p.m. near mile marker 29 on AL-21. John Higginbotham, 36, of Franklin was driving the ambulance, a 2007 Chevrolet CT3 with Michael Stanton, 37, of Peterman as an occupant.
