  • Andalusia man dies in wreck

    An Andalusia man lost his life in a single-vehicle crash last Sunday in Escambia County (Ala.) Lester Cecil Aughtman, 57, was killed when the 1999 Jeep Wrangler he was driving left the roadway struck a culvert and overturned, according to an Alabama State Troopers news release. The wreck happened on Escambia County Road 43, 19 miles east of Castleberry at 5:20 a.m. Aughtman was pronounced dead on the scene. No further information is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate....
