    With snow on the ground, carols in the air, and joy in hearts, crowds showed up to view the 2017 Christmas parade in Jay, Fla., Sat., Dec. 9. Despite the colder than typical temperature, parade goers risked the chill to show up to support the local floats made by churches and other civic organizations.     It was Escambia Academy's first shutout of the season Friday, Sept. 15., as the Cougars continued their winning streak defeating the Jackson Academy Eagles 35-0. EA's record now rolls to 6-0. With a nearly balanced offense pulling in 380 total offensive yards, 177 through the air and 203 rushing, the Cougars made a clear statement over the Eagles.
