    Paws Crossed Dog and Rescue in Brewton is calling all runners – those with two legs and those with four – for its 5K 'Racing for Rescues' run scheduled for March 2 at Obannon Park in Brewton. Entry fees for the run are $20 for ages 14 and up; $10 for ages 5 to 13 and free for ages 1 to 4 and any dog that wants to walk or run with their owner.     Workers spent the last few weeks rebuilding the pier at Hurricane Park in Flomaton that had rotted to a point it was unsafe. Bondurant Lumber and Hardware was able to get the manufacturer of the original wood to replace it at no charge. Fishing is once again allowed on the pier....
