    An investigation by Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's State Bureau of Investigation led to the arrest of an Atmore man on five counts of possession of pornography with intent to distribute after officers found photographs of nude and semi-nude juvenile females on his computer. Micah Matthew Mobley, 27, 51 Wooten Road, Apartment 203, was arrested by ABI agents with court records stating the photographs were found on July 17.     With the help of Flomaton Police Chief Dereck Lowry and Flomaton Utilities Superintendent Shaun Moye, parking places in front of Flomaton Town Hall have been designated as a safety zone, which is under surveillance 24 hours a day 365 days a year.     Thanks to a $36,000 school safety scholarship from the Global K9 Protection Group, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office will be able to add a four-legged asset to its arsenal to assist deputies with detecting and locating firearms and explosives.     Since Brewton's Paws Crossed Rescue opened in 2016, the organization has adopted out 3,253 dogs to loving homes and more adoptions are needed. This past Saturday, Paws Crossed held an open house to showcase the dogs and puppies that need a home. Paws Crossed was established as a no-kill shelter and volunteers at the shelter work to find homes for the dogs and puppies.
