Commission approved its fiscal year 2022-23 budget Monday on a 3-2 vote with Commissioners Steven Dickie and Karean Reynolds voting no due to the elimination of the road department’s special projects crew.     An 18-year old Brewton resident is being held on $300,000 bond on a rape II charge, accusing him of having sex with a 14-year old girl. Trent Michael Cooper, 307 North Pine St., was booked into the Escambia County Detention Center Tuesday and went before District Judge Eric Coale later that day for a bond hearing.     The Flomaton Town Council passed a budget showing about a $300,000 positive balance that included some raises and funds to hire an additional employee in the front office. The budget also includes about $15,000 for improvements at the Flomaton Community Center that houses the senior citizen SAIL site.
