    A Monroeville man originally arrested on domestic violence and theft charges now faces additional charges after he was accused of trying to escape from an Atmore police officer after being taken to Atmore Community Hospital after complaining about health issues. Savon Deon Hurst, 27, 13 Crowe Ave., now faces escape III and criminal mischief III charges in addition to the domestic violence charges.     A car fire ended up destroying a home; a space heater caused a fire and a possible electrical fire had firefighters busy over the past week with no injuries reported. Flomaton received a 911 call at 3:35 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21 of a fire at 121 Martin Luther King Drive in reference to a house fire.     Circuit Judge Jack Weaver denied a motion filed by Brewton Attorney Earnie White to dismiss capital murder charges against his client, Jonathan Michael Taylor, claiming prosecutorial misconduct.     With the General Election set for Nov. 8 applications for absentee ballots in Escambia County (Ala.) must be made by 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at the circuit clerk’s office inside the courthouse in Brewton.
