The body of a female found dead in the Conecuh River on Dec. 9 has been positively identified as 74-year old Eva Lisenby McBride, who was reported missing from her Pollard home on Nov. 24. The Flomaton Police Department's increased presence in the Holt Subdivision due to complaints of illegal drug activity led to the arrest of two men Monday for possessing methamphetamine. Capt. Century Council President Ann Brooks questioned several charges that were on the bill list to paid by the town at Monday night's meeting, included several airline ticket purchases and restaurant charges.
