Thomas Perry “Buddy” Williams, 71, of Century, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018 at Century Health and Rehabilitation in Century.
Mr. Williams was born in Century and spent the majority of his life in Georgia before returning to Century several years ago. A veteran of the U.S. Navy who enjoyed several hobbies, including NASCAR, he earned the National Defense Service Medal and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and was of the Baptist faith.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 23, at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola with Bro. William Chancery officiating. Burial followed with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Williams is survived by two sons, Frankie Williams of Brunswick, Ga. and Aaron Williams of Atlanta, Ga.; one daughter, Cassandra Williams of Georgia; four sisters, Eleanor Gibson of Pensacola and Aileen Cork, Florene Bales and Elaine Williams, all of Century; and two grandchildren.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Jefferson and Margarette Annie Williams; and two brothers, Larry Williams and David Williams.
