William Jasper 'W.J.' "Bill" Hall

William Jasper “W.J.” “Bill” Hall, 83, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018 in Brewton.

Mr. Hall was born in Conecuh County, Ala. and had been a lifelong resident of the Brewton area. Owner and operator of W.J. Logging Company and Hall's Tree Service for several years, he was of the Baptist faith.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 18, at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Breceda officiating. Burial followed at Union Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of 63 years, Barbara Brown Hall of Brewton; one son, William Jeffery “Jeff” (Camellia) Hall of Brewton; three daughters, June Darlene (Riley) Smith, Susan Diane (Gregory) Cueto and Sharron Denise (Gregory) Stone, all of Brewton; one brother, Frankie (Charlotte) Bell of Brewton; three sisters, Maedell Watson and Ann (Tommy) Fore, both of Brewton, and Polly (Roger) Emmons of Milton, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Hall was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Kaye Smith; his parents, George Washington Hall and Myrtice Smith Hall; and one brother, James Bell.
