Boyette, Hanks and Dixon receive their awards
The Flomaton High School auditorium featured interesting acts Thursday night as the school held its annual womanless beauty pageant. With the theme "A Night at the Movies", students took advantage of having fun with various acts ranging from lipsyncing "Let it Go" from Disney's "Frozen" to belly dancing to Shakira's "Hips don't lie". Logan Hanks, appearing as "Logania Monroe Jackson Hanks" pulled out the win, taking first place and being named the crowd favorite. First runner up was Micah Boyette who also won the talent division of the contest candlelightinging as "Paddy Melt". Second runner up was Donte' Dixon preforming as "Newdea". Chelsea Black, Miss FHS 2017, and Initta Boy, Miss Hurricane 2017, were also on hand to entertain the crowd and stifle the laughter.
