Albert E. “Nick” Hazley, Sr., 63, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018.
Mr. Hazley was born Dec. 25, 1954, to Charlie Bozaman and Sylvia Williams. He grew up in Atmore and went to school in Escambia County and worked as a machine operator for a production company in Atmore and founded True Gospel Church of God in 2006.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 10, at True Gospel Church of God with Monroe Turner officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Christian Memorial Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Hazley is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Hazley; three sons, Robert Chadd Hazley and Brian Brown, both of Atmore, and Demetris Roberts of Norcross, Ga.; five daughters, Lakenda (Tommy) Riley of Daphne, Ieesha (Paderick) Marshall of Atmore, Nickesha Roberts of Norcross, Sheena Hazley of Mobile and Dutchess Kirkland of Brewton; his mother; four brothers, Mickeal Hazley, Ernest Hazley and AlC Williams, all of Atmorre, and Gary (Emma Jean) Hazley of Monroeville; and two sisters, Delores (Alfred) Johnson and Meachel Hazley of Atmore.
Mr. Hazley was preceded in death by two sons, Albert Hazley, Jr. and Christopher Kirkland; one daughter, Tammie Hazley; his father; two brothers, William Hazley and Christopher Williams; two grandchildren; and other family members.
