Edith Gaynell Lambert, 79, of Arab, Ala., died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018.
Mrs. Lambert was born May 8, 1938 to Angus and Emma Presley Reed Lambert in Tibbie, Ala. She was a good friend to all who knew her.
The funeral was held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral home Chapel with Bro. Joe Gipson officiating. Burial followed at Serenity Gardens Cemetery with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel directing.
Mrs. Lambert is survived by four sons, Wesley (Sondra) Culver and Eddie (Stephanie) Culver, both of Tennessee, William (Marla) Turner of Florida and Donald (Janet) Turner of Alabama; two daughters, Martha Collum and Lillian (Mike) Reynolds, both of Alabama; three brothers, Donald (Judy) Lambert of Alabama and John Reed and James Reed, both of Texas; three sisters, Viola Conn of Alabama, Lagatha Lilly and Wanda (Cary) Vowels of Texas; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Douglas Lambert; and one sister, Helen Burkett.
