Leroy White, 79, of Byrneville, Fla., died Monday, Feb. 12, 2018.
Mr. White was born March 13, 1938 to Roy and Lanie White in McDavid, Fla. A graduate of Walnut Hill High School, he retired from Champion Paper International and enjoyed camping and traveling.
The funeral was held at 12 p.m., Friday, Feb. 16, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Chapel with Bros. Tony Richburg and John Bob Coleman officiating. Burial followed at Byrneville Methodist Church Cemetery with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
Mr. White is survived by his wife of 59 years, Adelia Reynolds White of Byrneville; one son, Darel White of Navarre, Fla.; two daughters, Sherry (Danny) Hooks of Brewton and Felicia White of Flomaton; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nephews, nieces and other family members.
Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Dwayne White; two brothers, Losson White and James White; one sister, Mildred Gilmore; and one grandchild.
