Eddie Pipkins Ellis, 68, of Flomaton, died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018 in Atmore.
Mr. Ellis was born Sept. 13, 1949 to Ace and Jessie Weaver Ellis in Repton, Ala. He worked as a diesel mechanic on heavy equipment.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 28, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Mike Hutto and Johnathon McCullough officiating. Burial followed at Dry Springs Cemetery with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Ellis is survived by his wife, Nancy Capers Ellis of Flomaton; two sons, Ace (Amy) Ellis of Jones, Ala. and Joshua Ellis of Flomaton; two daughters, Kristy (Kristopher) Marshall of Oak Grove, Fla. and Carrie Ellis of Atmore; one brother, Carl Starrett of Texas; and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Ellis was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Harry Ellis and Dudley Ellis; and three sisters, Mary Elizabeth Roddam, Alice E. Salter and Dorothy P. Forte.
