William Esie “Billy” Wilson, 77, died Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Century Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Wilson was born in Brewton and had lived in Houston, Texas prior to returning to Brewton in 2004. A member of the 1959 W.S. Neal High School class, he worked as a carpenter in the construction industry. An avid outdoorsman, he was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 11, at the chapel of Craver's Funeral home with Bro. James Aubrey Wilson and Speaker Tony Wilson officiating. Burial followed at Zion Hill Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Jean Harris Wilson of Brewton; one son, Ricky (Wanda) Wilson of New Caney, Texas; three brothers, James Aubrey (Annette) Wilson and Tommy Wilson, both of Brewton, and Jerry (Carolyn) Wilson of Andalusia, Ala.; one sister, Sharon (Dale) Wise of Enterprise, Ala.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
