Beatrice Cook, 84, of Walnut Hill, Fla., died Sunday, March 4, 2018.
Mrs. Cook was born July 5, 1933, to Gussie and Martha Catherine Fuqua in Brewton. She attended W.S. Neal and spent time at Mount Berry School in Georgia. A member of the Church of Christ, she wrote her memoirs of growing up in a book that her family will cherish.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 10, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral home chapel with Norman Newberry officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Cemetery in McCall, Ala, with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Cook is survived by five sons, David Cook of Navarre, Fla., Tony Cook of Auburn, Tim (Vicki) Cook of Bratt, Richard (Rebecca) Cook of Oak Grove and Robin Cook of Garcon Point, Fla.
Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband. Cecil Cook; siblings; and one grandchild.
