William “Butch” Hughie O'Farrell, 74, of Brewton, died Sunday, March 11, 2018 after a brief illness.
Mr. O'Farrell was a native and life long resident of Brewton who attended W.S. Neal High School. A U.S. Army veteran, he worked as a yard maintenance man.
The funeral was held at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, March 15, at Zion Hill Cemetery with Rev. James Aubrey Wilson officiating. Burial followed at Zion Hill Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. O'Farrell is survived by one step-daughter, Christie (Steve) Johnston of East Brewton; two step-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
Mr. O'Farrell was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph David and Mary Edna Johnson O'Farrell; and a special friend, Loujena Haveard Baker.
