Travel to Atmore, Alabama for Mayfest 2018 on Saturday, May 5th for a day of fun-filled family activities at Tom Byrne Park. This quaint city park surrounded by tall longleaf pines, oak trees, a central gazebo and walking trail offers the perfect setting for this event.
Mayfest 2018 offers something for everyone – arts and crafts, plenty of good food and live entertainment all day from the gazebo stage. This year we are welcoming vendors from Florida to Texas! There will be activities for the kids including children’s rides, rock climbing walls, and games, the Williams Station train ride, pony rides, face painting, and much more!
Of course, the ever popular Mayfest “Beautiful Baby Contest” will showcase babies and toddlers ages 3 months through 3 years of age. The Atmore Advance proudly sponsors this event. This year’s Mayfest will also include two new events – our Inaugural Miss Mayfest Pageant and the Mayfest Softball Tournament. Miss Mayfest is for ages 4 – 18 with overall and optionals winners for each division. Your Little Pink Boutique and The Yellow Garden are proudly sponsoring this new addition. The Mayfest Softball tournament will be great entertainment for sport enthusiast attendees. This coed tournament is open to all players ages 18 and older.
