Cora Lee Crutchfield James

Cora Lee Crutchfield James, 97, of Brewton, died Saturday, May 19, 2018, after a brief illness.

Mrs. James was a native of Conecuh County, Ala. and lifelong resident of Brewton. A retired seamstress from Judy Bond, she attended the Appleton Assembly of God Church.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 23, at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Min. Richard Rodgers officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Cemetery in Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. James is survived by four sons, Leonard (Annette) James of Camden, Ala., Charles (Laura) James and Wayne James, both of Brewton, and Tommy (Cindy) James of Holtville, Ala.; one daughter, Carolyn James of Brewton; two sisters, Ruby Hendricks of Pace, Fla. and Mary Lou Trawick of Montgomery; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. James was preceded in death by five brothers; one sister; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
