Lora Mae Findley Springer, of Canoe, Ala., died Monday, May 14, 2018 in Canoe.
Mrs. Springer was born July 23, 1938, to Pat and Sybil Northcutt Foreman in Rains County, Texas. A member of First Apostolic Church of Flomaton, she retired as a cook from Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 19, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Jim Colley Max Stinson officiating. Burial followed at Robinsonville Baptist Cemetery with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Springer is survived by three sons, James Guy (Charla) Springer of Arkansas, John Henry (Kathy) Springer of North Dakota and Joseph (Stephanie) Springer of California; three daughters, Sarah Jean Hayes and Jeri Yvonne (Jose) Cisneros, both of Canoe, Ala., and Jessie Gayle Brady of Arkansas; one sister, Dee (Charles) Hilton Mesquite of Texas; and numerous step-shildren, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other extended family members.
Mrs. Springer was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Findley, II; one daughter, Joan Horton; one brother, James P. Foreman; one sister, Pauline Messer; and other extended family members.
