Lula Mae Colbert Parker, 84, of Atmore, died Thursday, May 17, 2018 in Atmore.
Mrs. Parker was born Oct. 13, 1933 to Wesley B. and Arlie Shipp Hayles in Monroe County, Ala. She was employed at Masland Carpets as a draw twist operator, where she retired from.
The funeral was held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, May 19, at Serentity Gardens Cemetery with Bro. Ricky Tedder officiating. Burial followed with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Parker is survived by two sons, Cecil Wayne (Belinda) Colbert of Davisville, Ala. And James Wesley (Lisa) Colbert of Atmore; two brothers, Ed (Frances) Hayles of Poarch and Tommy (Janice) Hayles of Atmore; two grandchildren, Linda (Kevin) Jones and Haley (Dempsey) Rolin; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her first husband, David Colbert; her second husband, William “Bill” Parker; one son, Curtis David Colbert; her parents; one brother, Eubie B. Hayles; and one sister, Lisa Freeman.
