A Flomaton man originally ticketed on May 21 for reckless driving and driving without a license was arrested again Tuesday and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after Flomaton police discovered the four-wheeler he was driving on May 21 had been reported missing from Flomaton Speedway.
Christopher Bingham, 23, 239 Rickey St., was also on probation at the time of his arrest Tuesday and a petition to violate his probation was issued.
Flomaton Police Sgt. William Mosely was working Cclick-it-or-Ticket" at 9:52 p.m. on May 21, when he observed a four-wheeler traveling down Ringold Street. Two subjects were on the ATV with Bingham driving, according to reports.
Bingham was issued the traffic citations and the four-wheeler was towed to Brantley's Service Center.
Police Chief Bryan Davis said his office was contacted on May 30 by someone from Flomaton Speedway about a missing four-wheeler that they observed inside the fence at Brantley's. They were told the four-wheeler had been towed by the police.
The four-wheeler driven by Bingham was identified as the one missing from the speedway and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
