Previously arrested in East Brewton for having sex with a minor; Brewton police file charges
A Brewton man arrested in early May for two counts of rape II for having sex with a 14-year old girl, has been charged again on rape II charges by the Brewton Police Department.
Davely Austin Miller, 20, 119 East Rankin St., was charged with rape II involving the same 14-year old girl that led to the original charge by the East Brewton Police Department. Davely appeared before District Judge Jeff White Tuesday and was issued a $100,000 bond on the new charges.
Brewton police stated the charge resulted from allegations that Miller has sex with the juvenile girl within the Brewton police jurisdiction.
Davely, along with Marcus D. Paul, 19, 67 Maddox Loop, Brewton, were originally arrested on two counts of rape II by the East Brewton Police Department. Kimberly Kelley, 201 Ball Lane, Lot No. 32, East Brewton was also arrested at the time and charged with six counts of rape II after being accused of allowing adult males to have sexual intercourse with her two daughters, ages 12 and 14.
Kelley, along with Brittany Shaddix, 27, 104 Avalon St., Brewton, and Claude Thomas Jr., 40, Willie Wiley Senior Circle, Castleberry, were also charged with human trafficking II for arranging for adult males to have sex with the underaged girls.
