The Brewton Town and Gown Players will be presenting the musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at 7 p.m. from Thursday, July 19 through Saturday, July 21 and at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 22 at Woodfin Patterson Auditorium located at Coastal Alabama Community College on the Brewton campus. The cast is comprised of over 45 actors from Brewton, Atmore, and Monroeville. Artistic Director Stephen Billy is beyond thrilled to be bringing this family classic to local audiences. “With the same music team that brought you Mary Poppins, the show is filled with memorable music and high energy dance numbers,” said Billy. “To make it even better, we will have a flying car in the production! The Female Ensemble will be: Shakeena Bradley as Sidney/Ensemble; Ronda Hastings as Miss Pimpletonn/Ensemble; Jo Downing as Violet/Ensemble; Katie Kirkland as Miss; Phillips/Ensemble; Tiffany Madden as Ensemble; Heather Walton as Ensemble; Holly Wyatt as Ensemble; Heather Kirkland as Ensemble; and Lawana Madison as Ensemble.
The Male Ensemble will be: Steven Smith as Lord Scrumptious/Soldier #1/Ensemble; Corey Williams as Soldier #2/Ensemble; Jack Mallory as Turkey Farmer/Ensemble; Heath Madison as Mr. Coggins/Ensemble; Dave Jordan as Ensemble; and Schwayn Bradley as Ensemble.
The Teenage Ensemble will be Hayden Hawsey, Trint Brown, Maegan Kirkland, Austin, Jernigan and Michael Floyd.
The Children's Ensemble will be Jayron Blackmon, Kaitlyn Commander, Owen Blackman, Kate Rambach, Jaylynn Peavy, Jaycee Farrer, Kenleigh Bolling, Brayden Bakare, Alivia Roberson, Rose McCall, Bo Rambach, Jeremiah Benjamin, Thai Benjamin, Sophie Quick, Anna Beth, Hawsey and Kyliee Walton.
