Brenda Joy “Country” Hudson Allen, 53, died Thursday, June 14, 2018.
Mrs. Allen was born March 30, 1965, to Willie Louis and Dorothy Lean Hudson in Dixie Mill, Ala. A 1984 graduate of Escambia County High School in Atmore, she moved to Vallejo, Calif., where she became employed with Hunters Point Naval Shipyard and attended Antioch Church of God in Christ.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 30, at Destiny Worship Center with Pastor Bernard Bishop officiating. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery with Christian Memorial Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband, Elton Allen; two brothers, Willie (Melissa) James Hudson, Sr. and Anthony (Evelyn) Bullard; three sisters, Gloria (Johnny) Dixon, Contina (Rodesia) Hudson and JoAnn Brown; and numerous nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins and other family members and friends.
Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Hattie Mae Brown; two grandparents, Hunter, Sr. and Minnie Lewis; and numerous other family members.
