Robert McCaskill, 80, died Friday, July 6, 2018.
Mr. McCaskill was born Oct. 5, 1937 to Claude and Jewel McCaskill Payne in Brewton. A graduate of Southern Normal School and member of Peace and Goodwill Church, he later served in the U.S. Army and moved to Philadelphia, Pa., where he lived for 20 years. Upon his return to Brewton, he laater became a member of Second St. Siloam Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 14, at Second St. Siloam Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Willie Blue officiating. Burial followed at Spring Hill Cemetery with Christian Memorial Funeral Home directing.
Mr. McCaskill is survived by his wife, Celestine McCaskill; two children, Terri Neely of Philadelphia and Robert “Bobby”
