Frank Eugene “Gene” Hall, 89, of Atmore, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018.
Mr. Hall was born Sept. 5, 1929 to Ezra and Lona Isler Hall in Poarch, Ala. A U.S. Army Veteran who served at Fort Bragg, N.C., he was a retired quality control manager with Vanity Fair Mills with more than 30 years of service. He was a musician and avid outdoorsman.
The funeral was held at 12 p.m., Friday, Sept. 21, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Heard officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Hall is survived by one daughter, Sandra (David) Sommerman of Kennesaw, Ga.; and two grandchildren.
Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his wife, Ida R. Hall; one daughter, Kathy Jean Hall; his parents; four brothers; and five sisters.
