Mattie Bell Hodge Lynch, 96, of East Brewton, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018, following a brief illness.
Mrs. Lynch was a native of Conecuh County, Ala. who was a retired caregiver. She was of the Protestant faith.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct.1, at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Bros. Don Cox and Robert Knowles officiating. Burial followed at Fort Crawford Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Lynch is survived by one son, Gene Lynch of East Brewton; one daughter, Polly (Mitch) Pace of Brewton; two brothers, Lavon (Sue) Hodge and Lamar (Linda) Hodge, both of Brewton; six grandchildren; 10 grandchildren; and three great-greatgrandchildren.
Mrs. Lynch was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Collis Lynch; one son, Tommy Lynch; her parents, Daniel and Jessica Clark Lodge; three brothers, Buddy Hodge, Hamp Hodge and Jimmy Hodge; and two sisters, Edna Powell and Evelyn Bates.
