Florence Janette Martin Beck, 77, of Atmore, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018 in Pensacola.
Mrs. Beck was born Dec. 13, 1940 in Poarch and had resided in McCullough, Ala. for most of her life. A member of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, she attended the Poarch Community Church.
The funeral was held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 4, at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bros. Chris Pruitt and Joe White officiating. Burial followed at Judson Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Beck is survived by her husband of 48 years, Kenneth Beck of McCullough; one son, Keith (Rochel) Martin of McCullough; one daughter, Anita Martin (Wayne) Murphy of Pensacola; six brothers, Douglas Martin and George (Sharon) McGhee, both of Atmore, and J.T. Holland, Kent (Tracey) McGhee, Terry (Yvonne) McGhee and Danny McGhee, all of Poarch; three sisters, Jean Ardis of Lottie, Mary Jane (Eddie) Tullis of Poarch and Nancy (Eddie) Lowrey of Atmore; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Beck was preceded in death by one son, Randall Martin; her parents, Willis McGhee and Elsie Martin Holland; two brothers, Otha Martin and Levan Martin; two sisters, Velma Amos and Helen Price; and one grandchild.
