Linnie Ruth Wolfe, 85, of Jay, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2018 at Jay Hospital.
Mrs. Wolfe was born in Dixonville, Ala. and had been a resident of Jay for 53 years, coming from Pensacola. A homemaker of the Pentecostal faith, she was a member of Jay Assembly of God Church.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 19, at Mt. Carmel Methodist Church with Bros. Mark Barfield and Bennie Wolfe officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Wolfe is survived by five sons, Jeffery (Cynthia) Wolfe, Gary Wolfe, Terry Lee (Dianne) Wolfe and Roger Carl (Vicki) Wolfe, all of Jay, and Albert Matthew (Elizabeth) Wolfe of Kansas City, Mo.; one daughter, Cynthia (Dave) Maddux of Jay; 31 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
