The Town of Century could receive as much as $14,000 as a fee for approving bond issuance through the Capital Trust Agency (CTA) for SGSL Fee Owner LLC, a for-profit company, to acquire and convert a hotel to a senior assisted living facility and memory care facility in Sunrise, Fla.
CTA representative Michael Stebbins approached the council Monday night to approve the bond issuance through a resolution amending the interlocal agreement between the town of Century and the City of Gulf Breeze. Neither municipality will be responsible for repaying the bonds.
