At 4:25 p.m., last Saturday, November 17, Flomaton Fire Department received a 911 call of a fully involved structure fire on Wolf Log Road. When responders arrived on scene, the structure was a shed behind a house, fully involved.
According to Flomaton Fire Chief Steve Stanton, the shed was full of Christmas decorations and that owner Wynell Clary advised she was in the shed, looked up, and saw that it was on fire.
“The shed was a total loss,” said Stanton.
Stanton said the blaze took about 10 to 15 minutes to get under control, and the cause of the fire is currently unknown.
Friendship, Lambeth and Flomaton Fire Departments responded to assist with extinguishing the fire.
