74-year old Pollard woman last seen Friday evening; multiple agencies, volunteer help
The search continued Wednesday for a missing 74-year old Pollard woman who last seen by family members about 6:30 p.m. Friday and reported missing about noon Saturday.
Multiple agencies have been searching for Eva Lisenby McBride who was reported missing from her 670 McBride Circle residence in Pollard.
Escambia County Sheriff's Office Capt. Bill Blair said when officers arrived at her home Saturday, her car was there and her purse and telephone were inside the unlocked home, which did not appear to be broken into.
In a 'Missing Senior Alert' issued by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, it stated McBride 'may be suffering from a condition that may impair her judgement'.
Tracking dogs from the Alabama Department of Corrections and Klass Kids were unable to sustain any track from the home. Blair noted it rained Friday night which made the tracking more difficult.
Members of the Flomaton Fire and Rescue, the sheriff's office, DOC and Klass Kids searched the wooded area around her house until about 10 p.m. Saturday with no results.
The search resumed Sunday with the addition of Monroe County Fire and Rescue, Daphne Search and Rescue, Alabama State Troopers and about 50 volunteers.
The state troopers also sent a helicopter Sunday to conduct a search from the air and Daphne Search and Rescue searched three bodies of water near the home.
Blair said the area had been searched three times and another search was scheduled for Wednesday.
"We're asking hunting clubs in the area to check their game cameras, but nothing has been found so far," Blair said.
He said investigators have also checked her cell phone and bank account.
"Everything is accounted for in her house," Blair said.
McBride is described as a white female, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds with brown eyes and gray or partially gray hair.
