Barry Mason Vaughn, 73, of Wing, Ala., died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018 ina Pensacola hospital after a brief illness.
Mr. Vaughn was a native of Independence, Kansas and former resident of of Neodesha-Elk City, Kansas and Ozark, Ala. before relocating to Brewton. A retired supervisor from Frit Car with more than 40 years of service, he attended the Rock Creek Pentecostal Church and enjoyed the outdoors.
Th funeral was held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. David Earl Elliott officiating. Burial followed at Rock Creek Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Vaughn is survived by his wife of 37 years, Linda Lucas Vaughn of Rock Creek; one son, Jeremy Douglas of Pensacola; one daughter, Denise Michelle (Richard) Walker of Pace, Fla.; two grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
