Jeanette Hart, 84, of Castleberry, Ala., died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018 in a local hospital after a brief illness.
Mrs. hart was a native and long time resident of Oxford, England before she moved to Brewton. A graduate of Sandhill High School in Oxford, where she ran track and played field hockey, she was a member of the Appleton Assemby of God Church and a homemaker.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 12, at the Appleton Assembly of God Church with Revs. Russ McDonald and Steve Pettis officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Cemetery in Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Hart is survived by two sons, Larry (Trace) Hart of Montgomery and Craig (Leilani) Hart of Charlotte, N.C.; one daughter, Patricia Byars of Brewton; two brothers, John Wiggins of England and Leonard Wiggins of England; four sisters, Joan Taylor, Betty Henwood, Pamela Shepherd and Diane Becket, all of England; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hart was preceded in death by one brother, Terrance Wiggins; and one sister, Anne Large.
