Johnny Braddock Mothershed, 54, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018 in Mobile, Ala.
Mr. Mothershed was a native and lifelong resident of Atmore who was a member of the Church of the Living God of Atmore.
The funeral was held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 18, at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Harrison officiating. Burial followed at Mothershed Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Mothershed is survived by three sons, Capt. Dexter (Candius) Donnell of Huntsville, Ala., Johnny (Kaleigh) Donnell of McDavid, Fla. and Deputy Skyler (Allison) Donnell of Jay, Fla.; one daughter, Hillary Donnell Mothershed of Atmore; two sisters, Dean (Rusty) Hodges and Freddie Bowen, both of Atmore; nine grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.
Mr. Mothershed was preceded in death by his parents, William Frederick and Gladys Luverne Mothershed; and other extended family members.
