Dalton Orie Morgan, 84, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018 in Pensacola, Fla.
Mr. Morgan was a native of Baldwin County, Ala. who had resided most of his life in McDavid, Fla. A farmer who raised cattle all his life, he was a member of the Florida Cattleman’s Association and was of the Baptist faith.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 30, at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Ernie Calhoun officiating. Burial followed at Godwin Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife of 67 years, Carolyn E. Morgan of McDavid; two sons, Keith (Barbara) Morgan of McDavid and Rodney (Charlotte) Morgan of Daleville, Ala.; two daughters, Debbie Morgan Smith of Gulf Shores and Sharon Morgan Robbins of Pensacola; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Morgan; one daughter, Gwen Morgan CArter; his parents, Albert Orie and Maggie Maude Morgan; three brothers; four sister; and one grandchild.
