Edward Weaver, 83, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018, in a Pensacola hospital.
Mr. Weaver was born in Brewton, Ala., where he returned to after serving more than 22 years in the U.S. Army. Of the Christian faith, he received his nursing degree while he was in the Army.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 22, from the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Bro. John Logsdon officiating. Burial with military honors followed at Weaver Family Cemetery.
Mr. Weaver is survived by three daughters, Julie (Mark) Brantley of New Brockton, Ala., Janice (Allen) Kirby of Brewton and Jeannie (Kevin) Kennington of Enterprise, Ala.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
