Thomas Alfred Agee, 76, of Flomaton, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018 at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital in Brewton, Ala.
Mr. Agee was born in Linden, Ala. And had been a member of the Flomaton community for 22 years, coming from Arlington, Ala. A U.S. Navy veteran, where he served as a medic in Vietnam flying with Medivac planes to retrieve injured servicemen, he was awarded Hawaii's Fresh Water Fishing Champion. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church who loved the outdoors.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 27, at Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor John Reeves officiating and Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Agee is survived by his wife of 54 years, Bobbie Reaves Agee of Flomaton; one daughter, Cynthis (Scott) Fletcher of Pine Hill, Ala.; four brothers, Vernon (Nancy) Agee of Daphne, Ala., Gary (Betty) Agee of Warrior, Ala., Mike (Ellyn) Agee of Illinois and Dean (Lynn) Agee of Monroeville; and two grandchildren.
Mr. Agee was preceded in death by one sister, June Deckard.
