Arthur Junior Bell, 92, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, in Pensacola.
Mr. Bell was a native and lifelong resident of Brewton. A member of the Moyeville Baptist Church, he retired from Kimberly Clark Paper Company and was former owner of JR Trucking company.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Revs. Mike Hutto and Dempsey Bell officiating. Burial followed at Moyeville Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Bell is survived by two sons, Nathan Bell of Monroeville, Ala. and Dennis Lee Bell of Houston, Texas; three brothers, Roscoe (Tommie Lee) Bell of Flomaton, and O'Neil (Cathryn) Bell and Roger bell, both of Brewton; seven sisters, Virginia Moye of Pensacola, Eva Lou (Tom) Pittman of St. Stevens, Ala., and Luverne Lowry and Judy Clay, both of Foley, Ala., Norma Jean (Don) Fritts and Willanet “Sunshine” (Ken) Barksdale, both of Lillian, Ala. and Cathy (Curtis) Cook of Cantonment, Fla.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Bell was preceded in death by one daughter, Anita Bell Boyle; his parents, Arthur B. and Jewell Bell; two brothers, Tharon Bell and Russell Bell; three sisters, Gloria Bell, Juanita Bell and Mildred Lambeth; and one grandchild.
