David Wayne Howell, 55, formerly of East Brewton, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at a hospice facility in Pensacola after an extended illness.
Mr. Howell was a native of Atmore who moved to Castleberry and then to Brewton. Of the Holiness faith, he worked as a machine operator in the foundry industry.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 12, at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Sister Brenda Watson officiating. Burial followed at McConnica Cemetery in Perdue Hill, Ala. with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Howell is survived by three daughters, Angelique (Jonathan) Summers and Rachael Howell, both of Repton, and Latasha Howell of Brewton; his mother, Joyce Presley Howell of Berrydale; four brothers, William Howell and Laden Howell, both of Damascus, Ala., Jason Howell of Orlando and David Lee of Brewton; five sisters, Lisa Flowers of Puerto Rico, Johnnie Purvis of Castleberry, Edna Hester of Roanoke, Va. and Tonya Howell and April Howell, both of Berrydale; and one grandchild.
Mr. Howell was preceded in death by his father, David Howell.
