Mary Bell McGhee, 71, of Poarch, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019.
Mrs. McGhee was born Oct. 28, 1947, to M.C. and Hattie Lou Presley Morris in Atmore, Ala. She was a homemaker.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 14, at Atmore Memorial Chapel with Pastor Cornelius Phillips and Tristan Montgomery officiating. Burial followed at New Home Cemetery with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. McGhee is survived by one son, Roger Adam (Althea) McGhee of Poarch; two daughters, Janet M. (Chris) Rodriguez of McCullough, Ala. and Carla M. (Andy) Hammonds of Brewton; three brothers, Mack (Pam) Morris of Cantonment, Mack Jr. (Sandra) Morris of McDavid, Fla. and David (Tiny) Morris of Perdido, Ala.; three sisters, Annette Nall of Huxford, Ala., Lannette Turberville of Uriah, Ala. and Gallette (David) Moore of Poarch; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and other family members.
Mrs. McGhee was preceded in death by her husband, Benny A. McGhee; her parents; and one sister, Marilyn Ross.
