Sherry Elizabeth Dunsford, 55, of Century, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019, in a Pensacola healthcare facility after an extended illness.
Mrs. Dunsford was born in Brewton, Ala. And had been a life-long member of the Century community. She worked as a pre-school teacher with the First Baptist Church of Flomaton for more than twenty years and more recently, with Abundant Life Assembly of God Day Care Center, and she was a member of Faith Bible Baptist Church.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 27, at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Gene Stokes and Glen Johnson officiating. Burial followed at Pineview Cemetery in Brewton with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Dunsford is survived by her husband, Chris Dunsford of Century; two sons, Marc (Priscilla) Dunsford and Mitch Dunsford, both of Century; her mother, Carolyn Wilson of Flomaton; one brother, Robert E. “Hub” (Kathy) Wilson, Jr. of Bratt, Fla.; two sisters, Elaine (Barry) Van Hoosen and Dorothy Wilson, both of Flomaton; five grandchildren; and numerous uncles, aunts, and many other family members and friends.
Mrs. Dunsford was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Robert E. Wilson, Sr.
