Emma Jean McGhee, 97, of Daphne, Ala., died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2019, in Mobile.
Mrs. McGhee was born Sept. 17, 1921 to Marion and Julia Barlow Albritton in Atmore. She was a homemaker.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 20, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. J.T. Guyton officiating. Burial followed at Antioch Cemetery in Nokomis with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. McGhee is survived by one son, Michael (Monica) McGhee of Daphne; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Mrs. McGhee was preceded in death by her parents; and seven siblings, Agnes Hollinsworth, Gwendolyn Irwin, Ruby Rushing, Edna Raines, Yvonne Kirkley, Gladys Caraway and Marion “Bud” Albritton.
