Dorothy Jean Sales Johnson, 82, of Flomaton, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019.
Mrs. Johnson was a native of Century who had been a resident of Flomaton for 21 years after coming from Pensacola. She had worked as a secretary for Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Fla. and was of the Baptist faith.
A memorial service was held at 5 p.m., Saturday, March 2, at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by two sons, James Farrell (Laura) Howell, Jr. of Huntville and Joel Wesley Howell of Flomaton; one daughter, Tamara Faye Jackson of Flomaton; two brothers, Donald Sales of McDavid, Fla. and Carl Dole of Eufaula, Ala.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley and Lula Mae Boutwell Sales.
