Lucretia Williams, 67, died Saturday, March 9, 2019, in an Atmore healthcare facility.
Mrs. Williams was born in Henry County, Ala. and had been a resident of Flomaton for the past six yearshaving previously lived in Brewton and Abbeville. A member of Abbeville High School Class of 1969, she had worked as an accounts receivable clerk at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital for a number of years. She was a member of Adoniram Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Adoniram Baptist Church in Shorterville, Ala. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Williams is survived by two daughters, Kelli (Jamie) Neal of Flomaton and Casey Jo Johnston of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one brother, Alfred J. (Nancy) Ball of Alamogordo, N.M.; two sisters, Angela (Mark) Nell of Abbeville and Melody Hermans of Panama City, Fla.; two grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, John Monroe Williams; and her parents, R.Y. Ball and Rejina Faulk Ball.
