Despite the cooler temperatures, crowds gathered Saturday, March 16 for the second annual 'Come Fly With Me Kite' event, sponsored by the city of Brewton to get children and families together and make memories. Held at Brewton's Dogwood Hills, about 100 people showed up to ride bikes and fly kites. Held by the fire department, public works and parks and recreation departments, hamburgers and hotfdogs were served to attendees.
