Dean Crary, 80, died Sunday, March 17, 2019 in Bluff Springs, Fla.
Mrs. Crary was a native of Jay, Fla. who had resided in Bluff Springs for most of her life. Retired from the Escambia County School System with 35 years of service, she was leader of the 4-H Club and a member of the McDavid United Methodist Church.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 23, at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. David Cook officiating. Burial followed at Crary Memorial Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Crary is survived by four daughters, Margaret (Jackie) Godwin and Julia Crary, both of Bluff Springs, Fla., Ruth Adams of McDavid, Fla. and Mary Alice (Andrew) Johnson of Pensacola; one brother, Wayne (Sue) Johnson of Century; one sister, Wilhelmina Simmons of Jay; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.
Mrs. Crary was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, John Crary; her parents, Roy and Estell Johnson; two brothers, Willie Ray Johnson and Winford Johnson; and one sister, Winnie Rice.
